Bitcoin and Lightning payments development
Lightning payments, on-chain deposits and fiat checkout wired into real products. We run the billing for our own hosting company on it, and our founder built production systems at Strike.
Every product we run takes Bitcoin. LNVPS bills for virtual machines over Lightning, on-chain and Revolut Pay, and renews them over Nostr Wallet Connect without the customer doing anything. zap.stream charges streamers for transcoding from a Lightning balance. Snort sends zaps from whichever wallet the user connects.
Payment code has to be dull in the right places: invoices that are handled once and only once, settlement that survives a restart, exchange rates fixed at the time of the quote, refunds, VAT, and records you can reconcile against the node. That is where we spend the time.
We can add Bitcoin to a product that already takes cards, build a payments backend from scratch, or fix one that loses track of money.
Lightning integration
Invoices, payment tracking and payouts through LND, fed into your own accounts and billing.
LNURL and addresses
LNURL-pay and Lightning addresses for scan-to-pay renewals and tips.
Nostr Wallet Connect
NIP-47 for recurring and automatic payments from the user's own wallet, and NIP-57 zaps.
On-chain
Deposit addresses and confirmation tracking with a configurable number of confirmations.
Fiat alongside Bitcoin
Revolut Pay and Stripe behind the same interface as Lightning, so pricing and billing stay in one place.
Billing
Subscriptions, renewals, referral payouts, EU VAT validation through VIES and per-country tax.
LNVPS: Bitcoin Lightning VPS hosting
Complete VPS platform built from scratch in Rust. Instant provisioning, Lightning and fiat payments, on-demand VM upgrades. In production at lnvps.net.
★ 11 LNVPS/apizap.stream: live streaming on Nostr
End-to-end Nostr live streaming: Rust backend core, React frontend, native app. Lightning zaps, NIP-96 media, real-time FFmpeg ingestion.
★ 65 v0l/zap.streamSnort: a Nostr web client
Feature-packed Nostr client in TypeScript/React. The most widely used web interface for the protocol, with an active contributor community.
★ 346 v0l/snort- Do we need to run our own Lightning node?
- Not necessarily. We can integrate with a node you already run, set one up for you, or work with a hosted provider, depending on how much control you want over funds and channels.
- Can you add Bitcoin payments to an existing product?
- Yes. Most of the work is fitting payments into the accounts and billing you already have, next to your existing card or bank payments.
- Have you built payment systems outside Bitcoin?
- Yes. LNVPS takes Revolut Pay, payments-rs supports Stripe, and the founder worked on production systems at BoyleSports and Strike.
