Nostr development

We have been building on Nostr since December 2022: a widely used web client, a live streaming platform, media servers, relays and a search engine over the whole network. OpenSats funded that work from 2023 to 2025.

STRATUM 01HOW WE WORK

Our Nostr work covers most of the stack. Snort is a web client supporting more than 45 NIPs. zap.stream is live streaming on NIP-53. Route96 is a Blossom and NIP-96 media server, also listed in the Umbrel app store. nostrsearch indexes around 900 million events for full-text search, and hole is the archive relay behind it.

We also bring Nostr into products that are not Nostr apps. LNVPS lets customers sign in with NIP-98, sends notifications as NIP-17 direct messages, provisions servers through a NIP-90 Data Vending Machine and runs a NIP-05 identity server.

If you are building a client, running relays at scale, or want Nostr identity and payments in an existing product, we have probably written something close to it already.
